Community Action Training (CAT) Programme – Residential Workshop

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), in partnership with the Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC), has launched the Community Action Training (CAT) Programme, focused on fostering civic activism in the Eastern Partnership Countries. This residential training took place in Tbilisi from May 24th to May 28th, 2022.

The  CAT training was attended by 15 activists from Eastern Partnership Countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) who are engaged in on-going campaigns led by grassroots organizations, civic initiative groups and activism movements.

The residential training course “Civic Activism in the Eastern Partnership Countries” builds upon the previous e-course and explores the principles and practices of strategic nonviolence and movement organizing. Additionally, it aims to create a networking and support framework within the CAT programme, providing a space for collaboration and mutual assistance among participants.
